Jamaica Vacations & All-Inclusive Packages
Over one million visitors vacation in Jamaica each year. Visit Jamaica for the perfect vacation resort in Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios, or travel to Kingston the capital city and explore the diverse Jamaican destinations.
Jamaica, particularly the Ocho Rios area, is well known for its waterfalls, like Dunn's River Falls, one of the more popular ones. But, there are many other sites that attract visitors.
MONTEGO BAY: Jamaica’s beaches are magnificent: soft, white sands in glorious tropical settings, with fabulous swimming in warm waters. Here is the Flower of the West Indies…a lush green island floating in the tropics, where sparkling blue seas lap into stunning, sun drenched beaches fringed with rustling palms. Rivers, streams and waterfalls cascade from majestic blue mountains veiled in mist. Every kind of watersport is available, from sailing to scuba, including fishing, waterskiing, snorkelling, parasailing and windsurfing. Jamaicans will welcome you with smiles and more smiles. Their rhythm, their music, including reggae and calypso, and their hypnotic dancing will entrance you. Jamaica delivers all the ingredients for a perfect holiday experience.
NEGRIL: A stunning white sand beach hugs the Caribbean for almost seven miles in Negril, the capital of casual at Jamaica's western edge. Only an hour and a half drive from Montego Bay, laid-back is a way of life in this sunny resort town, which retains the sleepy tropical charm that first attracted seekers of sun and solitude three decades ago. Peaceful strolls on powdery white sand, swimming and snorkelling in limpid aqua-blue water, and clothing-optional sunbathing are only part of your "do-as-you-please" Negril vacation. None of Negril`s hotels is taller than the average palm tree, the result of local efforts to limit development and protect natural resources, including the area's spectacular offshore reefs. Negril is one of life's rare pleasures and the ultimate freedom vacation. It's a kick-off-your-shoes, shrug off your blues way of life. Eat and drink, love and laugh, play party and be happy. Negril. Come and take pleasure here in the capital of casual.
OCHOS RIOS: The name "Ocho Rios" has two possible origins: it is either a direct translation from Spanish meaning "eight rivers" or an adulteration of "las chorreras" (the spouts), reflecting the large number of waterfalls in the area. Ocho Rios is located about 60 miles from Annotto to Discovery Bay on a half-moon shaped cove in the middle of Jamaica's northern coastline. It was formerly a fishing port and was also known for its banana exports. Now it is a pretty resort town with stunning waterfalls and beaches and interesting colonial-period buildings like the Geddes Memorial Church and the Anglican Church.
